Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pineapple juice

  • 8 oz Fresh Pineapple (chopped)

  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar

  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce

  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)

  • 4 Pork Chops

Directions

  • In a skillet over medium sauté garlic with a touch of olive oil for about three minutes or until fragrant. Add pineapple and sauté for about another minute.
  • Add the juice, brown sugar, soy sauce to the sauté and continue to cook for about five minutes allow the mixture to reduce a bit.
  • Add pork chops and cook for fives on each side or until desired doneness is reached (this will depend on the thickness of the pork chops).
  • Place pork chops on plate. Hopefully the sauce has reduced to a nice “glaze” consistency. If it has then spoon the mixture on to each of the pork chops. If not, then continue to cook for a few more moments. Always remember that the sauce will thicken up a little as it cools.
