About This Recipe
What can be better than banana bread? It is sweet, it is moist, it goes great with butter, and you can claim it is healthy because it has bananas in it. Banana bread is one of my favorite things to make, mainly because it is so easy and it take very little time to put together. With a flick of your wrist, a few seconds with your mixer, and a couple minutes in your oven you have yourself a delicious loaf of banana bread to snack for the rest of the day or next few days.
Hints & Tips
What you will notice about this banana bread is that as delicious as it is, it is a basic style banana bread. Thankfully for you playing the “at home” game sprucing this banana bread up is really easy. Most of the common things that have been added to banana bread are things like chocolate chips or walnut pieces. But you can take your banana bread to any level you would like. Go wild and different types of chips in your mix like peanut butter chips, caramel chips, and even go as far as putting in banana chips for more banana flavor. The last tip I would share with you is that ovens are a picky piece of equipment. I posted that you should cook for about an hour but I normally start checking my banana bread at around the 45 minute mark. So, just be careful on your baking times.
