1 ½ Pounds Large Shrimp (with shells)
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
4 Garlic Cloves (minced)
4 Tbsp Butter
3/4 Cup Dry White Wine
½ Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
½ Lemon (juiced)
¼ Cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)
Directions
- Remove the shells and clean your shrimp in cold water; save the a small portion of shells.
- In a large skillet melt the butter with olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add in the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in your wine, pepper flakes, some black pepper, and shrimp shells bringing to a simmer and letting the wine reduce to about half.
- Remove the shells and discard.
- Add in the shrimp and cook until shrimp turns pink.
- Serve over pasta, topped with parsley.
