About This Recipe

One of my favorite things about dinner parties, holiday parties, or any social gathers is coming up with fun and exciting appetizers. Appetizers can range from sweet all the way to savory and sometimes you can do a combination of each. That is what I love about these parmesan puff pastry appetizers. They are really delicious as they are or you can use this recipe to springboard them to a higher degree.

Ingredients

  • 1 Sheet of Puff Pastry (thawed)

  • 4 Tbsp Olive Oil

  • 1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

  • 1 Egg

  • Roll out your puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.

  • Cut your puff pastry into strips that are about ½ inch wide and roughly 6-inches long.
  • Twist your pastry 5 – 6 times and pinch each end; this will help in preventing unraveling.
  • Place your strips on a baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl beat together your egg with 2 tsp water.
  • Brush your egg wash over your strips and sprinkle with a little more cheese.
  • Bake for 10 – 15 minutes or until nice and crispy.
