Candied Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar

4 Pounds Sweet Potatoes (peeled and chopped)
¾ Cup Brown Sugar
½ Cup Maple Syrup
2 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
½ Cup Salted Butter
¾ Cups Pecan Pieces
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a small bowl stir together your brown sugar, syrup, and pumpkin pie spice.
- In a large baking dish place in your butter and melt it in the oven.
- Add your potatoes into the baking dish and drizzle the sugar mixture over the potatoes.
- Carefully give them a nice stir making sure they are all coated with sugar mixture.
- Bake for about 25 minutes then give them another stir.
- Bake for another 25-30 minutes or until easily pierced with a fork.
- Remove from oven and top with pecan pieces.
